Does it ring on my own phone?
Yes. The business number rings through to whichever mobile you give us at setup. You can swap that target number any time from your Blinki inbox.
How fast does it go live?
Provisioning runs server-side after payment and usually completes within an hour. We send a welcome email the moment your number is live and ready to take calls.
Can I send and receive SMS?
Not yet. Every number we sell is technically SMS-capable, but we have not built texting into the inbox, so we would rather not sell you something you cannot use. Calls and voicemail work today; we will say so plainly here the day texts do.
What does £19.99 actually cover?
The line rental, voicemail-to-email, the inbox, 500 inbound minutes a month and 150 outbound. Anything past that bills at standard UK rates monthly. No setup fees.
Can I keep my existing number instead?
If you've already got a UK landline you'd like to bring across, we can port it in — that's a separate process. Drop us an email and we'll handle the paperwork.
Who owns the number?
You do. If you ever leave Blinki, we'll port the number out to whichever provider you move to. No hostage-taking.
Is there VAT on top?
No. Blinki isn't VAT-registered, so the £19.99/month is the price you pay. No surprises at checkout.
